Artstop.ie Vendor Guide: From Listing Artwork to Receiving Payment
Welcome to Artstop.ie! This practical guide is designed to walk you through the process of listing your artwork for sale, fulfilling orders, and receiving payment. Let’s use a real-life example to clarify each step.
Example Artwork: ‘Blue Moon’
- Asking Price: €100
- Shipping Cost to Dublin, Ireland: €25 (set in your account dashboard under shipping options)
1. Listing Your Artwork:
- Sign in to your vendor dashboard on Artstop.ie.
- Navigate to ‘Products’ and choose ‘Add New Product’.
- List your artwork (‘Blue Moon’) with details like price, description, and images.
2. Making a Sale:
- A customer purchases ‘Blue Moon’ for €100, plus €25 for shipping.
- You will receive an email notification about the order.
- The order details will be visible in your vendor dashboard.
3. Fulfilling the Order:
- As the vendor, it’s your responsibility to ship ‘Blue Moon’ to the customer.
- Use a reliable courier service and keep a record of the shipment.
- Once shipped, update the Order Status in your Vendor Dashboard to ‘Complete’.
4. The Return Policy Period:
- Artstop.ie offers a 14-day return policy to customers after they receive the artwork.
- This period allows the customer to return the artwork if they choose to.
- During this time, the payment for ‘Blue Moon’ is held securely by Artstop.ie.
5. Requesting a Withdrawal:
- After the 14-day return period, you can request a withdrawal of your funds.
- Navigate to your vendor dashboard and select ‘Request Withdrawal’.
- Specify your preferred payment method (bank account, debit/credit card, etc.).
6. Receiving Your Payment:
- The payment process takes 3-5 business days, depending on your bank and chosen payment method.
- You’ll receive €100 for the artwork and €25 for shipping, minus Artstop.ie’s 15% commission on the sale price, minus the Payment Processing Fees.
- Artstop.ie’s commission is applied only to the sale price, not including shipping.
7. Artstop.ie’s Role:
- We provide a platform for you to showcase and sell your artwork.
- We handle the online transaction process and maintain the website.
- We support you with customer service and assist in resolving any issues.
Your Role as a Vendor:
- You are responsible for accurately listing and describing your artwork.
- You handle the packaging and shipping of your artwork.
- You are responsible for any customer queries related to your artwork.
Remember:
- Keep your vendor profile updated.
- Respond promptly to orders and customer inquiries.
- Monitor your email for order notifications and updates from Artstop.ie.

Setting Up Your Seller Account and List Your Artwork
1. First, go to https://artstop.ie/ and click on the ‘Artist Registration‘ option.

2. Then click on ‘Register‘ here:

3. You’ll be prompted to fill in some basic details like your email and password, and select ‘Vendor’ from the dropdown menu here:

4. Scroll down to the end bottom of the page and click on ‘Register‘:

6. You’ll be redirected to the vendor setup page. To proceed with the setup, please click on the ‘Let’s Go‘ button. This initial step will guide you through the necessary stages to fully establish your vendor account. *Note you can choose ‘Not right now’ and skip to Step 9.

7. Type in the details required and click ‘Continue’:

8. Please enter your payment details. These details will facilitate the withdrawal of funds from sales of your artwork. After inputting the necessary information, please proceed by clicking on ‘Continue‘. *Note you can skip entering the bank details and the bio for now. The bank account details are only required when you want to withdraw funds after an artwork is sold.

9. Next, please select the ‘Go to your Store Dashboard‘ option. This will direct you to the dashboard where you can upload and manage your artworks on our platform.

10. Next go back to ‘Products’ / ‘Add New Product‘:

11. Next fill in the product name, the price, upload a product picture and select a product category and click on ‘Create product’ to publish your artwork online
